Be a Missions Church

Let the church arise!

Going to all the world is a command. Our Heavenly Father’s heart is that we as a church would arise and take the Gospel to people and places where it has not reached including the unreached people groups. Is your church already in motion with missions or are you looking to become a missions church? Then welcome home!

To engage with you we would like to get in touch to see where you are in your missions journey. We will assess our missions-fit with your church and how we can support you. We have a couple of ways that we can partner with you.

Learn

Invite a speaker

Part of resourcing churches is to connect them with people with a passion for missions. They help your church see an expanded world view about unreached people and how your church can be part of the great commission. I like what Steve Moore said …“The Great Commission is too big for anyone to accomplish alone and too important not to try to do together.”
Let‟s join hands and inspire every Christian to Go, Send or Pray!

Send

Send a person

It’s Isobel Kuhn who said “I believe that in each generation God has called enough men and women to evangelize all the yet unreached tribes of the earth. It is not God who does not call. It is man who will not respond!”

Here at MAPPs, we want to partner with you to identify and help them answer the call to go and make disciples of all nations with the transforming gospel of Jesus Christ. They will go under your umbrella as your missionary but we will cover a lot of ground with you as their local church until such a time that we mutually agree to wean them to your able leadership.

Plant

Plant a church

We believe that every person must be grounded in a local church from where they are sent. Planting a missional church is the next natural thing to do after winning souls. It’s one of the most exciting adventures you’ll ever embark on as a church. It’s also one of the hardest. It requires initiative, leadership, strategy, systems, and a lot of prayers.

Our part in this journey is to provide a going-to-missions generational leadership model which feeds into all other supportive systems we have as a missions‟ organization. We pray that God would link our hearts together.

Experience

For teams

One sure way to have people catch the fire for missions is to expose them to the mission field. This way they see people who look different from them but who have the same basic need of love, hope, peace, salvation, and human dignity. These activation opportunities are called Short Term Exposure to Missions [STEM]. We would like to explore how to do this for adult [not the youth!] members of your church. They could be a group of men, couples, leaders, choir, or any other group.

Adventure

For youth and young adults

This focuses on our next-generation mission force aged 15-30 years; exposing them to missions while they sandwich it with adventure to help them embrace and grow in missions. We want them to have fun as they do ministry. We do this by organizing mission trips and adventures to communities and people groups that will enhance missions awareness and commitment to the great commission.
