Living and serving Christ a day at a time
When we first met them, they came across as highly motivated, optimistic, enthusiastic, inspired and passionate about their calling. This beautiful couple live in the Eastland’s part of the city of Nairobi, Kenya in an estate called Komarock. A second born and a first girl in a family of 6 children; Tina’s dream was to venture into the field of criminology at the university but her dreams were cut short when her father could not raise school fees in her final year.
Ministry leaders and community builders!

I want to be a DJ when I grow up!
George & Tina’s son
While out and about to get a casual job to raise money for her studies she found herself being passionate about what George was doing that is, follow-ups, cell groups, cell meetings, leading people to Christ. It’s almost two decades now and counting in marriage. They are the Founders of Bethany Family churches in Huruma and Chokaa in the city of Nairobi.
In our visit to their home, we met their 4-children Eleanor, Emmanuel, Phillip, and Grace-Beth who have been trained to understand that their parents are servants in the house of the Lord and despite life’s pressing needs, God would provide. They too are kids and have dreams to become a pediatrician, a pilot with their last-born dreaming to become a DJ!!
It’s evident while talking to the couple that God has sustained them and grounded them in His word and as they continually work hard to balance issues of ministry and family. Sometimes this is easier said than done until you become part of their lives. With growing children and family, financial needs are a continuous challenge sometimes stretching and eating into the time they need for ministry. In the future stories, we will introduce you to the incredible things that God is doing through this couple here at MAPPs missions Foundation.
